In order that we have a consistent orderly look and feel to BMV RP, all RPers are asked to follow the below conventions.
1. All RP threads need to have a name of the thread within quotes. For example "Visiting Orlais"
2. Following the title there should be a dash "-" followed by who is involved in the thread within brackets. If the thread is not inclusive to a group of members the word "Open" should be used as well to indicate anyone can join. So a proper subject line would look like this:
"Double Trouble" - [Blake, Summer, Open]
3. At the top of the first post of a thread, in most circumstances, it is good practice to indicate within brackets the setting or special circumstances of the situation, preceded by OOC. ("OOC" stands for "Out of character") For example, [OOC - BMV High School]
4. All writing within every post that is not within brackets should always be "IC" or "In Character".
5. All IC posts need to be written in third person with proper grammar and spelling.
6. Taking Turns: Some threads will have more than two people posting in them. It is standard practice to post in order. Which means you must wait until it is your turn. Most groups will settle on a posting order ahead of time. Make sure to follow.
7. Waiting For A reply: At the current time, we request that if you are involved in a thread and it is your turn to post, you do so within a week of your turn. You will find most members will post much more frequently in a group post. If you need to be away for a while, please inform me or the members within your thread .
8. Have fun and ask Autumn Witch if you have any questions!
9. If you include any text from another RP-ers post within your own post, please italicise it. This will avoid any confusion and ambiguity of not only who said it but how to contextualise it within your post.
