Liam is 6'3" with short, black, messy but also well-kept hair. He has piercing, dark brown eyes, a scruffy beard, and a smile that's to die for. Generally he can be found wearing fancy attire, taking a particular liking to dark business suits. He rarely, if ever will be found in public any anything less than business casual. At home, he has no standards.. typically he's found wearing gray, black, or white sweat pants accompanied by a black or white t-shirt. If it's not in public, he has no one to impress so he generally stays comfortable in private.

Personality:
Most people would describe Liam as a swindler, some accuse him of being a cheater, and others just downright despise him. On the outside, you'd be right to call him these things, but on the inside, he was much more calculated. Liam is actually very cunning and manipulative, often using his powers to get the upper hand on others around him. His charming personality, a self-taught knack for persuasion, and his overall alluring demeanor make doing what he does that much easier. While he may lead a somewhat shady nightlife, Liam actually has a somewhat decent moral compass. He spends much of his time at local bars, drinking away thoughts of his past while hustling others out of their money in pool. He has a soft spot for children and the homeless, often giving his ill-gotten gains away to someone in need, or for the benefit of local youth. He cloaks his ambiguous lifestyle with his day job, as a local college professor. You'll find him frequently at youth sporting events, coaching sports for local highschool and recreation teams, and donating much of his income from these jobs to local charities that help the poor and middle class.

- High charisma, charming personality, looks and innate ability to persuade others through sheer words alone
Spells that he's come to learn
- Persuasion - By simply speaking a phrase, or command, Liam can overtake the mind of a weaker being and persuade them to do as he pleases. This spell lasts until the intended effect or command has been completed.
- Charm - He can look into the eyes of his victim, of any gender, and charm them into being attracted to him or make them feel obligated to do as he says
- Regeneration - He's mastered the ability to cure minor and moderate wounds with just the touch of his hand. He is able to immediately close wounds, stop bleeding, and return a portion of the constitution back to the
inflicted.
Ritual Spells
- Detect Vampires - Given his lifestyle, Liam found it particularly important that he learn to sense vampires around him. Spending 1-2 minutes on a ritual with his silver pendant he is able to detect any vampires within the
immediate vicinity, this includes through walls no thicker than 2-3 feet in total.
- Mind Reading - Liam has the ability to cast a ritualistic spell that allows him to temporarily hear the surface thoughts of those around him. During this phase, his eyes glow a very faint red color. The eyes are almost not
noticable but anyone within a fair distance of him paying attention would likely notice something off about them.
Inherited Abilities
- Teleport - Once per day, casts a portal onto any surface creating a black, smoky portal which he can walk through and appear in the attic of his local townhouse. The attic of which is adorned with all manner of warlock décor
and items.
- Eldritch Blast - blood/dark damage any creature around them. Stuns vampires and makes them temporarily vulnerable.
History:
Liam is from Blood Moon Valley. His father is a local county commissioner, his mother serves as the head of the school board. They both were also born in BMV, and they come from a long line of well-off businessmen and women. Their name, Ambrosia, is pretty well known around town and they've made a name for themselves over the years. Liam, however, was the first of their bloodline to get into the supernatural lifestyle. No one in his family, as far as he was aware, had ever been involved with witches, warlocks, or vampires. Ever since a young age, he'd been interested in the supernatural and was introduced to the possibility of becoming a warlock when he was in his early teens. One night while on an outing with his friends at a local national forest, Liam found himself confronted by some sort of strange supernatural being in the middle of the forest. He'd gotten separated from his friends and upon encountering this strange creature, immediately became enthralled in the idea of vampires and werewolves. The creature had a pale face and glowing yellow eyes, it moved closer to Liam with every breath he took, but for some strange reason Liam wasn't scared. He knew he should be, but something about this creature inspired him more than scared him. Maybe he'd had a spell cast over him so that he wouldn't be fearful and run away? He wasn't sure. But in the end, it didn't matter, his mind had been made up. Soon, his friends came running back in his direction, shouting his name. This startled the creature who quickly hurried off into the night, never to be seen again. At least not by Liam.
Many days later while out in the town shopping for knick-knacks, Liam came across a back alley antique shop. At first, he didn't think much of it until he found an old dusty, ancient-looking book in the back of the shop. It was covered in dust. Upon blowing the dust off, he rubbed his fingers across the hardcover which had some sort of ancient text writing on it. He purchased the book from an elderly lady who told him he wouldn't be able to read it because the language was ancient and no one could translate it anymore. He was determined, nonetheless, to figure out what it was and see what he could learn from it. Over the course of the next year or so, he researched different languages and while he never cracked the code of this book specifically, he did pick up some small bits and pieces of similar languages which eventually got him to learn the few spells he'd been able to cast.
The power of the book itself somehow transferred to Liam during his many years of study and speaking the spells themselves. He was able to enchant a silver cross pendant on his silver chained necklace that he now uses as a spell focus. Inside of the cross is a 4-inch blade that when he tears it free from the pendant itself, becomes a silver dagger that he was well aware he'd need in case he'd come into contact with a vampire. Through his years of study he learned that vampires like to take advantage of the rich, and well-off, and he knew that if he was going to live the life of a warlock he'd need a way to protect himself.
As he grew older, Liam learned spells from the book that he used to help him get ahead in life. He generally focuses on powers of lust, charm, and charisma. He persuades others to do his bidding and in turn gains the upper hand in most situations to benefit himself and those around him. For a day job, Liam teaches basic science at a local college. He generally just does this as a cover-up job for his real life's calling, hustling poor souls out of money in pool. He has a secret life that he leads of gambling, hustling, and bar hopping. He definitely likes his partying lifestyle and has an especially keen sense for the supernatural. His passion in life is to become one of the best warlocks BMV has ever seen, and to do so means to get to know every supernatural the town has to offer. Including those he should be deathly afraid of, vampires.
